Dark Blue Jeans

This post is part of my Mood Week #1

For my second Blue Jeans look I chose my dark blue Paige jeans and combined it with a light pink camisole I bought at Mango the other day, my Juicy Couture bag and the glitter slippers from Bronx. But today I don’t want to talk about my outfit, I want to give you a few informations about the history of blue jeans.

The blue jeans was originally designed for cowboys and miners. They used the blue jeans for work. Starting in the 1950s the blue jeans became popular among teenagers, especially among members of the greaser subculture. Today the blue jeans comes in various fits, e.g. skinny, slim, straight, boot cut, low waist and flare. The blue jeans is a classic and it’s one of the garments everybody has in the closet! 🙂
