The Striped Crop Top

Today starts a new Mood Week on whaelse.com. This time it’s all about the crop top, a garment which has become a key piece in the stores and of course our closets. There are a lot of ways how to wear a crop top: with out without a shirt underneath, with jeans, skirts, shorts or dresses and more possible combinations. It’s summer so we wear our crop tops with bare midriff 😉

During the next few days you’ll see five different crop tops and five different looks, one garment never worn twice. Today we start with the striped crop top I bought some days ago at Zara – not surprisingly, isn’t it? 😉 This top combines two trends: the cropped trend and the striped trend! Two trends you’ll see a lot during this summer.

For my first Mood Week outfit I combined the cropped top with black jeans and boots! We found the perfect location to shoot this look: an old skateboard park. How could I avoid to shoot here? I love the contrast between the look and the location. 🙂
