Wooden Statement Necklace

A necklace made of wood? That sounds a bit curious, right? We are used to wear a lot of plastic or silver and gold jewelry, but have you ever thought about wearing a wooden statement necklace? I haven’t since Luisa told me about her idea to create and make one by herself. You’ve seen the tutorial here on whaelse.com yesterday and today I want to show you how to combine and wear this unusual necklace.

Since the wood is light brown I opted for a dark shirt and chose this black wool sweater from Zara. I love the contrast of the colours as well as of the textures. To complete this look I wore my blue J Brand Jeans, my chain boots and a leather jacket. What do you think about the wooden statement necklace and the whole look? 🙂
